DoorPack service software quote module allows your sales rep to quickly prepare quotes for both commercial and residential customers. DoorPack provides the ultimate flexibility by allowing you to also record any hand-written quotes and Excel prepared quotes. Outside sales reps can also use DoorPack’s ability to prepare quotes remotely on lap-top computers while they are meeting with their customers.
Initially the user works with Fireline Systems to import their primary manufacturers parts into DoorPack. Inventory items that are being tracked are set up in Quick Books. Pricing is updated in DoorPack using manufacturer provided multipliers or can be manually updated. Package templates (modules) along with package options and option pick lists are easily put together in DoorPack. Once these templates are assembled the sales person is ready to create their own quotes templates can be modified at any time.
After the quote items have been selected you can add labor, misc items and any notes. DoorPack Software provides a quote analysis section to determine your customer mark up and/ or gross margin. DoorPack also provides flexibility to allow you to provide a lump sum discount or a percentage discount. The quote can be printed and/or emailed to the customer.
